I am disgusted.
I am appalled beyond belief.
I woke up today to the news that three churches were bombed. One damaged. Another didn't explode. And the third... in my church. The church I go to worship God every Sunday.
Committed by moronic-pea-sized-brained-fucking-retarded-idiotic-dickheads (from here on referred to as Imbeciles).
Over what? The use of a WORD? The use of the word Allah? Who in the world claimed that word to be theirs?!
Before I go on, let me say this.
I am not racist. I am not religiously intolerant. I am of Chinese and Indian parentage. My brother-in-law is of Arab descent. My sister is a convert and my nephew is Muslim. I am Catholic. I dated a Hindu man for almost 6 years. Half of my Chinese family is Buddhist.
I would never attack a race or religion.
My anger is directed at the Imbeciles who threw those bombs. It is unfortunate that they fall in the category of a certain race and religion and therefore will be attacked as a whole. My anger is towards the government who "condemn these acts" and "view these matters seriously" but are so fucking slow at taking any action.
What has happened to the people who dragged a Cow head and stamped on it in protest of building a Hindu temple in a "Muslim-Majority" neighborhood?

Let's reverse roles here. If someone were to walk into a Mosque today with a Pig head or maybe throw a bomb into a Mosque, what would happen?
This country would go to war instantly.
But if it is done to another religion, we are supposed to "stay calm" and to let the authorities do their work? We are not allowed to voice our opinion or to show how angry we are that our house of worship has been attacked?!
This is what they want. The people who did this heinous act want us to react. How are we supposed to just sit back, exercise restraint and act dignified?
As I write this, I just got word that cars are being smashed and scratched around Bangsar if they see a Rosary or Cross or Bible in the car. I don't know how true this is. I've heard it from several unrelated people already. It could just be a rumour. And I really hope for this country that it is nothing more than a rumour.
Nonetheless, I am so angry and upset.
"We will continue to voice our feelings in protests today because you cannot stop the outflow of feelings on this issue," the group's president, Ibrahim Ali, told AFP. "I think it may have been because of restricting Muslims from voicing their anger and fears that the church attacks took place. You must understand that if Muslims are unhappy, I'm sure there will be no peace in this country."
And what? If the Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and other religions are not happy, this country will be peaceful as long as the Muslims are happy????? Idiot.
Again, I repeat, my anger is not directed at Muslims or Islam as a whole. I have Muslim friends who are equally as disgusted by this whole fiasco. They are educated people who should not be put into the same category as those swines. My anger is directed specifically at imbeciles who commit such heinous crimes, racial and religious intolerant bastards, and people of power with supremely stupid statements.
Have these imbeciles forgotten their Prophet Muhammad's promise to the Christians? Or maybe they were never aware of it.

No one of the nation (Muslims) is to disobey the covenant till the Last Day (end of the world)."
There is going to be racial tension in Malaysia. There is no doubt about that. Let's just hope that the government will take the right steps to rectify this situation. But the government alone cannot solve this. All religions teach us to act with love, kindness, compassion. We each need to be reminded of this and not attack one another.
I pray that Allah will grant this nation peace. I pray that Allah in His own time, will punish these people for committing such crimes for it is a sin against Him more than it is to us. I pray that Allah will keep us all safe from evil and danger. I pray that Allah will remind us, that there is only ONE God.

Dear Fiona, i came across your post by chance.Well said!I am a Malaysian living in Indonesia and I have to say I feel more welcomed here than i do back home.There is more religious tolerance and equality.No such issues bout "Allah" have arised here considering the vast majority of Muslims."Allah's" not gonna be too pleased with the culprits!You could not have put it any better!kudos to you!
